The Bornito de Sousa Foundation is a non-profit, non-partisan and non-governmental legal entity governed by private law, with legal personality and administrative and financial autonomy, social solidarity and altruism, with a view to contributing to the sustainable development of Angola.
The Foundation aims to support individuals, projects and communities in general, through socio-economic and philanthropic initiatives, involving national and foreign partners from the public and private sectors, in the following areas.
The Foundation aims to be the meeting point for Academia, Civil Society, Business, NGOs and Public Institutions and, through joint work, adopt best practices in areas defined in its purpose and basic documents. It also intends to have access to the best that is done in terms of Research and Development, applying these contributions in the form of projects and programs.
Promote development dynamics, facilitating dialogue and the creation of synergies between the public and private and social sectors in order to better respond to the challenges of the present and the future.
Our commitment is endowed with a constantly changing dynamic, built on what we do every day, achieving goals and exceeding expectations, always doing things in the best possible way.
In difficult moments we need to extend our hands to those in need and show solidarity with our neighbors, with small gestures of kindness and unity on the part of all, we can transform people, projects and communities.
To face these great challenges, it is necessary to maintain the fundamentals that allowed us to get here. But also, adding new tools and new values, strengthening the programmatic sense and improving initiatives, restoring values and giving due transparency to our activities.
Along our journey we have overcome several obstacles. Nothing has been easy, but it's those moments that nourish us with strength, courage, and hope. It is necessary to insist, persist and never give up, these are the circumstances that test our ability to fight for what we most want.
